This is why I send people to Joe Pace's You tube channel when they have hand held problems. He was the only person out there showing the proper proceedures, start from the beginning, the fuel tank & lines before you touch the carb. I have fixed so many "unfixable" hand helds by following that ...It works fine in the Stihl gas trimmer, but the ego does not spin fast enough for the line to straighten. I tried Echo crossfire and the Ego works much better. It is still not quite as precise as a gas Stihl, ... Overall, the only true advantage for me is no gas fumes and the powerload is nice compared to standard head on my stihl..
