Certainly true. My upgrade path personally was inquisitor staff as I was doing slayer and some bossing, and then t90/t88 which allowed me to do all bosses with 4taa at some. The staff is better for slayer and lower tier pvm as you will be able to swap much easier to DW. For a while I had a nox staff and also an inquisitor... I'd suggest get nox or sos if you can afford and also have an inquis... when you can afford fsoa d/a nox or if sos keep it incase they buff or to use as a switch... and then sell the inquis ....
