Dec 30, 2017 · Carburation may not necessarily be your problem, but if it won't start on ether, I have good results with gas in a bottle and a piece of 1/16" fuel line in the bottle cap to pour a very small amount of gas into the carb or intake. Good luck - the module (4060188 CUTOFF,12V,ALT.OPR,LR-50) was only used in 1999 and series 10 Rangers - it has been obsolete for 15 years with no replacement being offered. Well to be totally fair, using a pressure washer is OK, as long as you keep the pressure down to about 500 to 750 psi - over 800 psi and getting within 3 inches of certain things will cause problems.Not if the pack loses connection to the 12v source (red wire) - if the coil has continuity red to each black and double the resistance black to black, then the coil is likely good especially since they don't often fail. Pull the plug. Leave it connected to the plug wire, lay on engine, crank over and watch for spark. Get a compression gauge and check compression, should be 80 or better, I think.
