With Magatsuhi grace, that 30% extra damage, increases by 20%. It also gives them increased anima charge while awakened as well.Getting a weapon with purity tempered on it is down to luck. No, you can't temper purity. It's RNG to get it on a weapon that doesn't innately have it. For tonfas, Pagoda Tonfa has purity by default.
