I own the Sony 300 CD Mega Changer by SOny and i've had it for about 4 months now the only problem is that every CD in the CD player skips no matter how new the CD is. I've recently bpught a few brand new CD's and all of them skip when i try to play them. Suitcase/all-in-one style players can definitely cause records to skip (because they are cheaply made and terrible quality). If your record player has a counterweight, make sure it's set correctly.
