4.7L. V8. 2WD. AUTOMATIC. I just rebuild this motor. Starts up but does not stay on/does not idle. I can keep on if I apply some gas but it sounds like either a vacuum issue or miss fire. Sounds a little rough. I'm having issues finding the vacuum diagram for this motor to make sure I plugged it all back in correctly.To figure out if it's you motor or transfercase, jack up the rear end, have a friend inside shift into 4 wheel drive, or try to, and put it in gear and apply some gas.
